New Pet

One day, Eliot took his newly born puppy to the park to play and teach it tricks. It was a lovely black lab that was adopted from its mother down in the grand vineyards that was a town over from where he’d live.  The puppy was the dearest thing in the world, with its soft coat, soft paws, and two dark eyes that’d looked like clear marbles. Eliot named the puppy, Abnor.
He took Abnor across the fields and into the woods away from any wondering strangers to do harm upon him. Once in a wide clear opening in the trees, he picked up a stick from the dirty ground and threw it clear across the opening. The puppy was a quick learner; it instantly ran then returned back to Eliot with the stick in its mouth. Pulling the stick out of the puppy’s mouth, he threw it again but it landed far into the bushes. The puppy knew where it landed even from afar its gaze. Abnor ran towards the bush and jumped in right through the branches. The bush wriggled a bit until it stopped to only let out a small squeal. Eliot was startled by the sound and paused a little before walking over to check if the puppy was alright.

Silence

Stepping over to the bush, he stayed partially paralyzed in his movements. Picking up another stick from the ground, he started poking the bush to see if his puppy was still there. After the third poke, he heard someone yelp in pain.
Erupting from the bushes was three of his classmates. One tall boy stood in front with a shorter boy and one little girl standing side by side behind the tall boy. The tall boy’s name was Ebert, he was the one who was meanest to Eliot form all the people in the class. Ever since the first day of school, Ebert had long made fun of Eliot for being the smallest and meekest of all the school children. Never having one day free of troubles, it was either a simple stabbed carving on Eliot’s desk or a random lynching on the playground during recess when the teacher wasn’t outside looking over the kids.
Ebert stood in front of Eliot holding the puppy in his grasp with a devilish grin just plastered across his face.
“Tis’ a cute dog you have… too cute for your shitty face”
“Leave me alone Ebert, I just wanna play with me dog, just leave me alone for once”
Ebert held out the dog for a little for Eliot to come forward a little until retracting the dog back, and the short boy shoving him over in a flash. Sitting on the ground, Eliot started to whimper while the kids started to chuckle.
“Come on guys, let’s take my new pet home”
The group started to leave with Abnor leaving Eliot enraged.
Getting up, he tried to charge at the group to try and get his dog back, but the Ebert quickly turned around to knock him square in the face, right between his eyes.
Falling back, Eliot started to cry from the impact whilst the kids started to run off out of the woods. He stayed on the ground, just pressing his left cheek on the dirt with tears running down. His dog had been kidnapped as he was, as usual, too weak to face up against his bullies.
He cried on the ground for a little while until a large shadow waltzed up above him. Eliot looked up to see a large man who wore a large cap that was blocking the sun out of his face. The man held out his hand and helped the sobering child stand up. His left side was covered in dirt with some spots of mud created by his tears. The stranger guided Eliot right out of the forest and back towards the park to sit at a nearby bench.
Sitting comfortably, Eliot’s sobs started to whine down.
            “Are you okay lad?”
            “… not really”
            “What’s gotten to you?”
“Some bullies kidnapped my puppy, Abnor”
“Sounds like a splendid name for a dog, and you said he was kidnapped?”
“Yes, buy three kids, one of them a big nasty bully. His name is Ebert”
“Hmm, do you know where he lives?”
            “I do”
“So let’s go there and retrieve your pet”
            “You’d help me?”
“Sure, a soul in need should be a soul to be saved”
            “Thanks mister!”
“No problem, so let’s go now”
Walking for twenty minutes, the two of them were finally at Ebert’s home. The friendly stranger had Eliot stand behind him for reassurance, and he knocked on the front door. When the door opened, he saw a tall woman wearing an apron holding a mixing bowl filled with cookie dough.
            “May I help you sir?”
“Yes, I’m with this little lad, and I was wondering if we could see your son, Ebert”
“Ah yes, he’s in the back with Gwendolyn and Charles playing with a stray black lab they had found”
            “ABNOR!?” shouted Eliot from behind.
Running through the side of the house and into the backyard, he saw Ebert holding his beloved puppy with it starting to bark when it saw site of its beloved owner.
            “Abnor!”
The dog barked from hearing its name.
“Hmm, didn’t think you’d come here. Anyway, seems as if you’d made the dog mentally ill already. He kept barking at my friends like the dirty mutt it is”
Holding Abnor’s mouth shut with his two fingers.
“I don’t think this dog is worth anything now since you tainted him”
Holding the puppy by its neck, Ebert started to firmly grasp its wind pipes while the thing started to struggle under the lack of air.
“Stop it, you’re hurting him” shouted Eliot
“Least I’ll give it a mercy killing”
Without anything to do, Eliot charged for Ebort, but only to be blocked by his two friends. Gwendolyn smacked him over the head with a spade to knock him over. Charles started kicking him on the side with Gwendolyn hitting him on the other. Eliot tried to protect himself, but he soon saw Abnor fall to the ground like a beaten rag doll. Looking up at Ebert, he had an evil smirk until he heard his mom come out of the house. The two beating him up stopped and retreated with Ebert back to his mom with the stranger following behind.
            “Mommy, mommy!”
            “Ebert, what’s going on?”
“Eliot tried to play with the puppy, but he ended up crushing it with a spade because he was jealous of me having a new gift from God”
Eliot only looked up in horror to what his bully was spouting. The mother started shouting at Eliot for being a cruel devil child and yelled at the stranger to only take Eliot and leave her property.
When they were clearly down the road from Ebert’s home, Eliot started to cry loudly from the false acquisitions placed on to his person.
“I… I didn’t kill Abnor, it was all Ebert and his two bastard fucker’s faults!” shouted high into the sky.
“I’m sorry I couldn’t help you back there, but telling her I’m just some random man helping might’ve done more harm than good”
Eliot could only look up at the man with tears in his eyes. Standing in front of him, he hugged the stranger for a while until letting go. The man felt some kind of warmth grow inside him from the little boy’s hug.
“Well, I’m just happy that you tried to help, but it’s no use now. He’s dead, and I can’t bring him back”
He started to whimper again at the end of his sentence, and when the man couldn’t take any more of the boy’s sadness, he proposed an offer.
“Hey there, don’t be like that. Why don’t I help you”
            “How?”
“Well, how about I’ll be your pet for a little while”
Getting on his knees and palms, he sat himself like a sitting dog. He barked a little to try and get a chuckle out of Eliot.
“Ha ha, thanks for the encouragement, but what I really want… is revenge”
The man only perked his face up to the sky for a little while, then looked back at Eliot with a cheeky grin. He sat himself, legs crossed from the doggy position.
“How about this, why don’t I come over to your class tomorrow and have a firm… stand with that hoodlum”
Eliot perked up with a gleam in his eye.
            “Really?”
“Yeah, I’ll come by tomorrow and make everything right”
“Thanks… maybe you can come around after lunch tomorrow, that’s when we have show’n’tale”
            “Super, I’ll be there”
The boy smiled back at the man, while the man pressed his right palm on the boy’s chest while sliding it down to his stomach.
            “What are you doing?”
“Just check if our agreement would be worth it, because you need to pay for what you get”
Eliot was only puzzled by his words, but gladly accepted for the service to be provided…

It was five minutes after lunch, and Eliot was sitting at his desk while the other students came up and presented a toy or a favorite book for all to see. He sat still to only see his new strange friend just wave to him from outside the door. When Eliot’s turn came up, he got up and stood in front of the ominous class just getting ready to pelt him with crumpled paper balls and eraser heads.
“Come on now, show us what you brought for us to see today” said the teacher in a somewhat stale tone.
            “Okay then… come in!”
The class stopped back talking for a while to only see a tall hobo looking man walk into the room after Eliot’s signal. The teacher suddenly bolted up and walked towards the man to question his presence.
“Ahem, sir, I’m not sure why you’re here, but I must advise you to leave. Please come back after class to clean”
Standing there for a minute, the man started to pull out something from his left sleeve. Pulling out the item, it was a switchblade knife that gleamed when the light hit its side. Holding it in front of the teacher, she froze in terror to what the strange man was going to do. Poking the tip of her nose with the blade’s tip, in an instant, a quick slash echoed in the room, and a gash suddenly appeared on her neck. Coughing up a little blood into his face, she stumbled around to only have the students scream. She fumbled around on the desk with the blood just gushing out of her neck until she fell over onto the floor. Eliot ran over to the door to lock it and shut the front curtains so no one could see in or escape.
            “Go now” shouted Eliot.
He walked back over to the front of the board while he witnessed the strange man attacking the children like a wild animal. The kids ran around like a swarm of disoriented flies while he got them all one by one. One fell after another when he caught one every second.
When he had gotten the whole class, the only other student left standing besides Eliot was Ebert himself. Walking in front of him, the man licked some blood ofs his blade while the little bully just trembled in fear. Holding the knife up, he dropped it to the floor. Instead, he kneeled down on his knees and started barking at him like a mad dog. Feeling the roaring effects of his barks, Ebert started to scream in fear until the strange man jumped on him and started beating him with his own hands.
Eliot only stood there paralyzed from the events, but felt a warming sensation engulf him once he saw his long demented bully finally get what he had been doing to him all along.
Once the animal acting man was done, he got up from Ebert’s corpse and walked over to Eliot like a normal human.
            “Good job… sir”
“Just some kindness from the bottom of my heart”
Eliot looked away and blushed a bit until he felt something grip his side.
“What are you doing!?” bolting away from the stranger’s grip.
“What, you don’t remember our deal? I do something for you, and you give me something”
“I’m sorry, but I don’t have any money right now”
“That’s okay, I wasn’t looking for money, but I fancy you just fine”
Staring at him with serious eyes.
“I’m sorry, but you can’t have me” slowly walking away from the board and near the teacher’s desk”
“Now you are just being a dishonest prick. If you don’t own up to what you owe, you’d be no better than that kid Ebert”
“I’m not the one who murdered him”
“Yes, but you’re the one who rightfully wanted this put upon him. Wishes aren’t always guilt-free you know that…”
“Well, I think you should just leave. I could just run off and call the police on you”
            “If I’d let you to…”
A grin so wide that pierced Eliot’s heart, he backed away from the wildered man and tried to aim for the opened window on the far side of the room. Before he could run, he ended up getting tackled by the burly man right behind the teacher’s desk. The mad man tried to dig right under the boy’s shirt forcing some buttons to pop. Feeling the large dusty hands just grip his sides, he soon heard a quick swoop. Looking up, he saw Ebert standing right above the strange man. He was holding the teacher’s grade book in his hand with some blood staining a corner. The strange man was about to tumble over Eliot until the boy slid out from bellow. Standing back up, he saw the man passed out on the floor with Ebert standing with the bloodstained grade book in his hands. Ebert looked back at Eliot with rage. Eliot ran for the open window across the room and tried to climb out. Ebert came quickly behind to pull Eliot back in for severe payback. Eliot was able to kick him off and topple outside from the classroom house.
Dusting himself off, he stumbled around just having the world suddenly spin in his view. The world had lost balance, and everything had been thrown out of order in his mind.
Walking over to the sandbox, he fell over to his right side on the sand while feeling his legs turn into mush. He laid there in a sublime state just feeling the sun hit his skin. Everything stood still for a second, and everything felt fine for a while.
Suddenly, a distant shadow came across him, and it was Ebert with a yard stick looking gravely down on the distorted boy below.
“You’ve been a bad boy” bellowed Ebert “someone should teach you manners!”
Getting up before Ebert hit him, Eliot ran with his head turned until he hit something hard. Stumbling backwards a little, he saw the strange man suddenly appear out of nowhere. Trying to back away, he felt Ebert entrap him over with the yard stick. Struggling to break free, he saw the strange man walk up and hover above him.
“You backed out of our deal, so instead of helping you, I’m going to be helping him”
            “But that’s not fair!”
“You’re the one who got the class killed, and you ripped this guy off. I say you pay, now”
Digging up Eliot’s shirt, Ebert toppled over with him above. The three of them fell over onto the sand with Ebert on the ground, Eliot in the middle, and the strange man on top. Trying to squirm free, Eliot was caught in a vortex of despair until he saw the yard stick suddenly knock off the strange man.
Knocked out again, the man laid there motionless. Eliot suddenly felt himself get flipped over and suddenly get pinned to the ground with Ebert above.
“Am I going to die now?”
“No, you’re not good enough to be let off the hook that easily”
“What are you going to do to me…”
“Hmm, I’ve beaten and insulted you endlessly, not sure what to do next”
“Um, just beat me some more?”
“No, just maybe I could let that bloke molest you, but you’d still be okay, just a little more filthier than you are right now”
Feeling tense, Eliot started to feel something sharp just slice into his stomach. Looking down, he saw Ebert cutting into his tummy with a pocket knife.

            “Ah, what are you doing!?”

“Why just giving you what you deserved”

Chuckling for a while, Ebert finally carved into Eliot’s stomach long enough to find his stomach. Picking it out slowly from the body, Ebert held it over Eliot’s face, and high as held, he felt the gastric acid just sting tightly into his hands. Slamming it hardly onto Eliot’s face, he saw the affects of the acid just burn his face as the skin started to burn into plotted grey spots as the fluids just flew deeply through the open orifices.

Eliot screamed for a few minutes until the acid started to pour into his vocal chords, and the massive injury of his open belly just heavily stopped the functions of his main organs.

Getting up slowly from the slowly decaying boy, Ebert looked down to his hands to see some of his skin peel off from touching the stomach’s slightly secreted fluids. While far to the side of him, the strange man slowly came back to his senses, and the first thing his eyes see is that his betraying toddler had been gutted while the face had been burned. He saw Ebert standing above the body just smirking happily at what he did.

While looking down at the mutilated corpse, Ebert suddenly felt two large hands grip his shoulders. Being turned around, he sees the strange man back on his feet. In terror, the strange man suddenly came down to kiss the boy while tipping him over on his back onto the sand.

There, they laid committing statutory rape as the mutilated boy coughs up a few drops of blood from his slit mouth.
